Calypso - Goddess

Today's story is not about one of my friends. It is about a Goddess. A much adored entity in our midst.

You may have heard of her in human stories about Greek mythology.

In those stories she is placed as Goddess or Nymph of the sea - it is said that she stood by the titans and that Zeus punished her for it. Being imprisoned on an island and never finding love... it is told that she welcomed Ulysses, in his Odyssey, for seven years on her island.

For us she is the Goddess of resurrection, she is our phoenix, the lady of persistence, of the lost loves. Can you imagine a mermaid with a broken heart? It's the end of the world! We love deeeeeply!

We worship Calypso for ways to continue, to reinvent and to be reborn. That new loves will come, that there is light on our path!
